Foresight
In 2016, the Global Panel published a Foresight report Food Systems and diets: Facing the challenges of the 21st Century.
This has since been shared widely with policymakers in low- and middle-income countries and in international policy circles with the aim of sensitising policymakers on the urgent need for food systems to deliver healthier diets and better nutrition for the future.
In September 2020, the Global Panel published Foresight 2.0. Drawing on the latest science and evidence, the report identifies the systemic policy failures that are impeding change, and sets out the essential steps that need to be taken so that food systems can transition so that they become fit for the future.
